What is a bundled payment?
A bundled payment is a new value-based program that helps the patient and payer save money over the 90 day period (episode). Instead of you, the patient, receiving multiple bills and paying multiple co-pays, there is only one bill, no co-pays, and the episode is less expensive. The control is given to your surgeon to make decisions on your behalf.
Concierge level care.
You will be assigned a case manager, who you will get to know quite a bit during the episode of care. Each practice’s case manager help qualify patients for the program, build out their plan of care, and follow up to ensure the patient has all they need to recover successfully from their surgery.
